THE PRODUCT CARE GUIDE
Quick Summary (TL;DR): To preserve the premium drape and buttery softness of your RHYNO bamboo garments, wash them inside-out in cold water on a gentle cycle, dry flat in shade, and iron on low reverse or use light steaming. Avoid hangers for storage to maintain the knit structure.
Our Bamboo fibers are woven with extreme precision. Follow these care standards to preserve their premium quality and structured fit for decades.
1. The Washing Standard
Turn your premium RHYNO knits inside out. Machine wash in cold water (maximum 30°C / 85°F) on a delicate cycle using mild, eco-friendly liquid detergent. Avoid powdered soap, fabric softeners, or bleaching agents, which can stiffen or dissolve the natural bamboo fibers over time.
2. The Drying Protocol
We highly recommend flat air-drying on a mesh rack under shade. Squeeze water out gently without wringing or twisting the fabric. If machine drying is necessary, select the ultra-low heat setting and tumble cycle. High heat shrinks bamboo knit structures instantly and weakens its buttery softness.
3. Pressing & Steaming
Bamboo fibers have a natural luxury drape and resist heavy wrinkles. If pressing is desired, use a clothing steamer on a low, gentle vapor setting. Alternatively, use a cool iron (maximum 110°C / 230°F) on the reverse side of the garment, preferably with a clean pressing cloth in between.
4. Garment Storage Care
Always fold your natural knits neatly to store them. Hanging heavy 280 GSM garments for extended periods can stretch the knit architecture out of shape. Keep stored garments in a dry, ventilated drawer alongside cedar wood blocks to naturally deter moths and retain fresh material aeration.
